Early start working out how much the tunnel can be widened by without cramping my feet.
This mark shows how much back seat an SD1 radiator would take up.
Seat back removed and the radiator lurking in place. The seat base has been cut in case I want to vent the rad down.
Kind of like this really.
Which would still leave quite a bit of boot available.
However a bit more boot got chopped so the rad can lay flat. The front of the seat base is folded back for more space behind the front seats for battery & spare wheel.
The bar between the cage feet is bolt in - in case it will get in the way of cooling stuff, but the top bar is welded to the sides of the shell, the seat back, the original parcel shelf and the extra shelf skin.
The shelf now extends 50mm further forward and has harness eyes bolted through 3mm brackets welded behind the top bar.
