Having found a nice quiet, interesting bit of country road, Elaine played Mrs Camera-Lady while I drove about in Doris.
The first clip shows Doris starting off, and quickly running out of first gear. Second gear is grabbed, but because of the dampish bend not much 'go' is added, then passing the camera 3rd is selected early for a nice 'throbby' drive up the next rise. 1038kb AVI
The next clip is Doris coming back the other way in 2nd gear with a bit too much throttle helping the front loosen up while passing the camera . 1042kb AVI
Clip three shows a bit of torque, as Doris is almost stopped, then pulls away again up the hill in third gear making "I'm a Range Rover noises" !!! 880kb AVI
The last clip is a quick run in first and second up to 50mph, not really the sort of road on which to try anything faster really :-) 560kb AVI
