Over Christmas I bought another Megasquirt kit, so that there is one ready for the Pievan, or as a spare for Doris.

Luckily, I picked up a few more EFI bits through Ebay so there is likely to be some changes to Doris, and some new developments for the Pievan fairly soon!
Nice new Bosch fuel pump and a new adjustable regulator with pressure gauge.
Range Rover 'Thor' inlet manifold, looks really new, very clean with a nice set of injectors and stainless fuel rail.
With a hoooge throttle body, big enough to eat tins of spaghetti (should anybody ever decide to inject such a thing).
Should be easy to plumb to the blower in the van with 'just' an elbowy adaptory funnely thing.
Or maybe easier to take it to bits and bolt the throttle body onto a bit of a custom plenum that bolts straight to the inlet base ???
The only slightly odd thing, is that the inlet pipes are not quite symmetrical, as you can see when the gasket is rotated 180 degrees.
Here's a few pics for a rough comparison with the SD1 inlet. The 'Thor' would sit a little lower, and a bit further back, but I wasn't going to start removing bits from Doris just to line it up !
The inlet pipes are a little lower than the old plenum, but they do spread further over the rocker covers.
The throttle body & plenum bit sit higher, but are not as wide.
