With some arch repair panels welded in and a blob of filler spread on, the rear sides are looking a bit more finished.  Hopefully when it's all the same colour it won't look so obvious that the rear wheels are 5 inches further back than they should be !!!

To strengthen up the swing arms some 3mm steel has been seam welded to the bottom, and some 1mm sheet on the top. Handy bits of cardboard employed in prototyping the required bits of steel.

The main framework in the rear has plenty of triangulation for strength, so a nice slab of thick steel was welded to this to provide a solid shock mount. With a few more bits of thin sheet in place the arches are finished.

The coliovers are fitted, then the frame for the rear floor bolts onto the sides and will have dangly brackets underneath to hold the gearbox. The first bit of interior panelling has just been welded in to the rear side, this will cover most of the box section framework making the interior look cleaner and adding a bit more strength.
