5th April, Webstuff.New build guide given a real directory all of its own. Quite a lot of work still to do, but the engine & subframe sections are quite detailed.
12th April, Action. Styling !!! ???.With the car looking mostly the same colour, we played a few games with the inkjet and some magic 'sticker' paper, also the rollcage got some new padding, then we took a few pics.... 19th -21st April, Action - Stripping & Driving & Paint & StuffEaster weekend turned out to be fairly busy, firstly a paint test failed due to some dodgy prep, so we decided that it was time to nuke the old paint, strip off the evil 70's vinyl roof and prep the body properly (or somewhere near to it). Then when we were 1/2 way through we put a few more miles on the car by driving to a local classic car show. Strangely when we arrived we were directed in to the normal 'punter' type car park instead of into pride of place in the main arena, perhaps the undercoat & paint stripper dripping from the bodywork didn't impress them....... Anyway there's another couple of hundred miles on the clock now and the only gripes are the iffy gear selection as the new clutch doesn't disengage as well as the worn one did, and slightly low oil pressure.
